Note that this role is office based and candidates must be based in Durban, KZN.
About the Role
In the role as Assistant Accounting Manager, your day-to-day duties include:
- Ability to manage various accounting engagements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to ensure employee compliance
- Manage and review monthly VAT, PAYE, WCA, UIF
- Lead meetings with clients and staff
- Ability to keep abreast with industry changes
- Ability to provide on-the-job training and internal training to junior staff
- Ability to compile monthly management accounts independently
- Ability to compile monthly payroll using payroll software
Requirements
The candidate must have a BComm Accounting degree or similar.
